Transform your concerts with an interactive QR Code
Imagine: your audience scans a QR code when they arrive at the venue, and can immediately sign up for open mic, request songs from the jukebox, or support you with a donation. All from their smartphone.
That's exactly what Timbry Interactive Concert offers.
How does it work?
1. Generate your QR Code
From your Timbry dashboard, enable interactive mode on your concert. A unique QR code is generated automatically. You can also generate a permanent QR code linked to your artist profile: one QR for all your concerts, which automatically redirects to the nearest show using geolocation.
2. Display it on stage
Print the QR or display it on a screen. Audience members scan it with their phone — no app required.
3. Your audience interacts
A mobile page opens with the modes you've enabled:
The 4 interactive modes
Open Mic
Your audience can sign up to get on stage. They enter their name, instrument, and the song they want to play. You see sign-ups in real time on your dashboard and decide who goes next.
Jukebox
Audience members browse your repertoire and request songs. You see requests ranked by popularity (upvotes) and choose what to play. Perfect for music nights or bar gigs.
Donations
Let your audience support you financially in real time. Two options:
- PayPal.me: Simply add your PayPal.me link to your profile — audience members are redirected directly
- Stripe: Card payment with a custom amount
Real-time sheet music
When you accept a request, the ChordPro sheet music automatically appears on your screen. Transpose with one click, switch to dark mode for the stage, and follow the chords live.
The artist live dashboard
During the concert, your dashboard shows:
- Now Playing: the current song with a timer
- Queue: accepted requests, waiting to be played
- Requests: sign-ups and song requests to accept or decline
- Donations: the real-time donation feed
- Sheet music: full-screen ChordPro chords, transposable
Everything updates in real time via SSE (Server-Sent Events) — no need to refresh.
Security and control
- Magic link: audience members authenticate via email (no password)
- Rate limiting: spam protection (10 sign-ups/minute max)
- Moderation: you accept or decline each request
- Session expiry: audience sessions expire after 12h
